Rachael Quon

Rachael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Distinction from the University of Calgary, Passionate about mental health, meaningful connection, and lifelong learning, Rachael plans to pursue a Master of Counselling Psychology and ultimately become a Registered Psychologist.

Rachael’s volunteer experience includes providing crisis support to youth and adults, contributing to research focused on immigrant-family resilience, and offering compassionate, non-judgmental listening to individuals from diverse backgrounds. These experiences have strengthened her ability to remain calm, attentive, and caring while helping people feel heard and respected.

Rachael has always imagined herself working with children. With a background in art, she appreciates creativity, imagination, and all the wonderfully unique ways children communicate and express themselves. She believes that even a small moment of kindness, such as a warm welcome, a listening ear, or some helpful guidance, can make an unfamiliar experience feel much easier.

As an Intake Specialist, Rachael brings empathy, organization, curiosity, and a little creative sparkle to the Kids Reconnect team. She looks forward to welcoming kids, teens, parents, and families, answering their questions, and helping them feel comfortable as they begin their spark-tacular counselling adventures!
